Dr. Bryan Chai first discovered his love for oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore during dental school. He was introduced to the specialty during the oral surgery rotation and enjoyed the full scope of treatment that it would allow him to provide to his patients. He finds it extremely rewarding to work with patients in restoring their oral health and seeing how a new smile and renewed function can change someone's life.
Dr. Chai began his career at Denver Health, practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and taking part in the resident education program. As a staff surgeon, he was able to treat a wide variety of conditions with an emphasis in facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, benign oral pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery. He looks forward to leveraging this experience and expertise to help the patients at Boulder Oral Surgery achieve exceptional surgical outcomes.
Dr. Chai earned his doctorate in dental surgery in 2013 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. While completing dental school, he also earned a PhD in neuroscience. He went on to complete his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Dental Health Medical Center, where he gained hands-on experience working alongside trained surgeons and anesthesiologists.
